As the special features of our school curriculum, we would like to mention that the foremost importance is given to value education with a view to create a sense of dutifulness and devotion to work and respect for all religious principles. We aim to inhibit traits like honesty, truth, spirit of sacrifice, humility, value for life, co-operation, discipline, dedication and to promote the spirit of love for oneself, others and the nation.

In order to develop a good rapport with the parents and teachers we have a special occasion called ‘Open Day’ during which the overall performance of each and every individual student is discussed with the parent. Six such meetings are conducted in a year.

We conduct Orientation Programs before the beginning of the academic year to develop a friendly relationship with the parent and the Management and to enhance the rules and regulations of the school.

In order to develop National Integrity we celebrate both National and religious festivals.

A unique feature of this institution is to provide extra classes after school hours for classes X, XI & XII.

The salient features of Ramaniyam Sankara are the motivational programs conducted for the students of classes IX to XII by various motivational speakers of high rank like Dr.Dhamu and Dr.I.Jagan.

Dr. Dhamu, an actor, a great comedian and a mimicry artist, who, beyond all this, is a well known disciple of Former President Late Dr. APJ.Abdul Kalam.

Dr.I.Jagan, CEO of “Win Your Weakness Academy” is popularly known as “ Ilaya Abdul Kalam”.

Such motivational programs enlighten the students to reach great heights.

In the farewell program conducted for the students of std XII in the academic year 2022 – 2023, all the students were motivated by Mr.Balavel Chakravarthi, Editor of NEWS 7 channel and each student was given a TNPSC group exam book for career guidance by the Management.

TAMIL NADU STATE BOARD CURRICULUM

• At the Kindergarten level, the XSEED book is followed.
• For the classes I TO V, the MACMILLAN (CBSE CURRICULUM) books are followed.
• Std VI to XII the TN State Board Syllabus is being taught.

The Academic year is divided into three terms and each term has two exams

• I MID – TERM TEST
• QUARTERLY EXAMINATION
• II MID – TERM TEST
• HALF YEARLY EXAMINATION
• III MID – TERM TEST
• ANNUAL EXAMINATION

At the end of every exam there will be a Parent – Teacher Meet [OPEN DAY] to enable the parents to know the status of their ward.

All children do not have the same grasping capacity. Some children may be slow in learning. For such children Ramaniyam Sankara takes extra care by conducting remedial class on Saturdays. This paves the way for the children who are minimal to fall in groove with the other children.

Ramaniyam Sankara acknowledges excellence in the form of awards. Every year the subject toppers of class X , XI and XII are awarded pertaining to their accomplishment in various subjects.

Perseverance and hard work are the tools to success. This has been proved by our student H.Balajee who has scored centum in four subjects, namely COMMERCE, ACCOUNTANCY, ECONOMICS & BUSINESS MATHS. He has secured a very high total of 591 out of 600.

In the academic year 2022 – 2023 the following students have received the prestigious awards for being rank holders.

The Management not only appreciates the academic achievers but also the teachers who are the backbone of all the success.

The teachers who have produced the top results in their individual subjects are honoured with the Dr.RADHAKRISHNAN Award and a cash prize of Rs 25000/-.
